10/30/2022 - Sharp Shinned Hawk

 

Maintaining 2 heated birdbaths for an entire winter is a tedious job and sometimes complicated by too much snow.  Two different years I've had to give up the bath in the back of the yard because I could no longer get to it to keep it filled.  The little birds have no trouble coming to the bath on the deck, but I try to keep the bath in the back open because of the crows and occasional hawk.  This one visited yesterday morning.
