Today is my 70th birthday, but that is beside the point. Two nights ago my neighbor texted me to listen for the owls hooting in the trees behind our houses. The Wild Birds Unlimited website said yesterday that Great Horned Owls are courting. They are one of the earliest birds to nest so they are now establishing territories and looking for mates. I took these photos last March 29 in the Catholic Cemetery where the dogs and I go walking. I look for them every time I go through there but only see one every now or then. I was very excited to get these photos.
