I live, and therefore walk, near Hector International Airport so I often see airplanes coming in or taking off when walking with Shirley. In the summer we're out early (6:00 - 6:30) so we see some of the first airliners off the runway. FedEx opened a hub at Hector so I learned that the Airbus A320-200 arrives every morning around 6:00 and after it's unloaded, the feeder planes leave between 7:00 and 8:00. I've enjoyed the chance to take photos of the planes.
This plane is a vintage B-17 that was in town for the Air Show last summer. My uncle George piloted a B-17 during WWII. I'd love to ride on the plane but the cost is about $400.
MP flew out on Delta when she went to CA to visit her sister.
FedEx was late arriving one morning. This is my favorite photo of the jet.
One of the feeder planes.
